Birthday Dinner Help Needed

The Wesley Bell Ringers played their first public performance in December 1963 at the Christmas Eve Services.  They were the first handbell choir in Utah.  Each December the ringers celebrate the choir’s birthday with a formal dinner served to them by a committee of parents.  This event includes formally welcoming the new ringers who bring a 6” x 6” square of fabric that means something to them to be made into a cross-crosslet for the Membership Banner.  As this is a formal event, we request that no non-ringers be in the “dining room” during the event except the adults that are serving and bussing.

Ringers – This is a mandatory activity.  Ringers dress up for the occasion - Sunday best!

Parents – A chairperson and crew of cooks, servers, and dishwashers.  Plan the meal, shop, prepare, serve and clean up. Servers wear black bottoms / white tops. Traditionally, we serve sparkling cider and appetizers before the dinner. Birthday cake is the dessert. We need kitchen, servers, and clean-up volunteers... click here to sign up!
